The majority of builders are men, that’s a fact. There’s nothing bad about that but how do we expect men to build rooms designed for women? As a female run business, we bring something else, a women’s touch.
Men don’t think the same as women, they don’t care about the same things we do and often times we settle for this, especially when it comes to designing our homes. Male builders tend to look for the easiest solution to problems and don’t consider all the things that females do.
Here at Interior Space Design, we are a female ran business and therefore have a female mind. We focus in on the details and ask what you want, instead of us telling you what you could do with the space. Do you have a vast collection of bags, are you a makeup aficionado, are shoes your vice? We’ll ask the questions so the space we design is entirely reflective of you. We want to build a home fit for you not a home for you to fit into.
Nothing gets on our nerves more than design faults, does a single woman need a shaving port in her bathroom? No. So why do male builders put them there? Because they don’t have a women’s mind. When we design a space, we don’t just devise a plan for the space, we conceptualise a space that is beneficial to you. We look at the final product as you living in the space not just empty shelves. We like to think of how you will fit your clothes into a wardrobe, where your cleaning products will go, how your shoes will fit.
